"These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them." ~Rumi
Helping you understand your nervous system in order to develop greater resilience and flexibility in your life is the focus, and joy, of my work. I am an individual adult and couple therapist with more than 30 years’ experience, currently in private practice in Austin, TX. My clinical social work degree and my training and graduate degree in physiology and biomedical sciences support our work together from a psychodynamic perspective, informed by current research in polyvagal theory, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic regulation, and attachment theory. I have advanced training in Family Therapy, PACT for couples work with Stan Tatkin, experiential application of polyvagal theory with Deb Dana, and an SEP certificate in Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing model. Shall we get started?
